Use the evidence, verify the repair
Educational diagnostic support
Blueprint Diagnostics organizes public vehicle data, user-provided information, diagnostic guides, AI responses, modified build sheets, diagnostic records, and scan-log evidence. It does not guarantee a diagnosis, repair, calibration result, vehicle safety, emissions compliance, or suitability for a particular job.
Automatic test packs and evidence score
Vehicle-, code-, and modification-aware test packs are planning aids. Modification detection depends on the build information the user enters and may not recognize every part or calibration change. The evidence-quality score measures recorded context and channel coverage only; it is not a confidence percentage, inspection result, safety rating, or proof of a failed component.
User responsibility
You are responsible for safe testing, correct tools, qualified inspection, exact vehicle service information, repair quality, and compliance with laws and emissions requirements. Stop for unsafe brakes or steering, leaks, fire or smoke, high voltage, airbags, severe overheating, low oil pressure, or any condition beyond your training.
AI, photo, and report limitations
Mechanic AI, photo review, and scan-report image/PDF extraction can miss, misread, or omit context and visible details. Compare extracted codes and status labels with the original scan tool. Never use an AI response as the only basis for a safety-critical repair, wiring pin, torque value, fluid, pressure, resistance, calibration, or part replacement.
Verified fixes and community patterns
A “strong scan evidence” result means the recorded comparison and technician confirmations met the displayed software checks. It is not a warranty, inspection certificate, emissions certificate, or proof that a vehicle is safe. Anonymous community totals are user-submitted repair categories and are diagnostic leads only; they do not prove the same cause or repair applies to another vehicle.
Live OBD, readiness, and shared reports
Live Bluetooth capture is read-only and limited to data exposed by compatible hardware, the browser, and the vehicle. Mode $06 identifiers, scaling, limits, freeze frame, and readiness status can be incomplete or manufacturer-specific. An unlisted report link is accessible to anyone who receives it until expiration or revocation. Confirm the original source file, exact VIN, OEM criteria, and physical test before relying on a shared summary.
Driving-safe mode and event recording
Driving-safe mode reduces visible controls but does not make phone interaction safe while driving. The driver must not touch or watch the device; use a passenger or voice commands and obey all traffic laws. A black-box event clip may contain less than the requested before/after window if capture began late, ended early, disconnected, or sampled slowly. A “passed under recorded test conditions” repair proof is a user-confirmed comparison, not a safety inspection, warranty, emissions certificate, or guarantee that every fault is resolved.
Tuning limitations
Browser tuning tools analyze imported CSV data and do not directly control an MPVI3. Blueprint Studio development features remain subject to exact controller identity, verified definitions, checksum validation, protected power, bench testing, and recovery proof. Verify mechanical health, fuel pressure, injector data, sensor accuracy, a real wideband for high-load fueling, and every safeguard before calibration work.
Accounts and content
Interactive tools require a Blueprint account with accurate registration information. Keep your password and signed-in devices secure. You may upload only vehicle data, logs, and images you have permission to use, and customer information must be lawful and necessary. Private records are associated with the verified account email. Service availability and storage limits may change while the product is developed.
Third-party information
NHTSA, OEM portals, HP Tuners, NASTF, and other linked services control their own content and terms. Blueprint Diagnostics is not affiliated with or endorsed by vehicle manufacturers, HP Tuners, ALLDATA, Mitchell, MOTOR, NHTSA, or NASTF unless a future agreement states otherwise.
